Start by entering your operating hours in the system
Menu-->Company Preferences-->Company Settings-->Maintain Hours of Operation
Hours can be set for the different services you offer by calendar type, here is an example:
- Boarding pick up and drop offs
- Monday - Friday 8 am - 11am; 3 pm - 5 pm
- Sat 3-5 pm
- Closed Sunday
- Daycare:
- Monday - Friday7 am - 6 pm
- No daycare on Saturday or Sunday
If you have two different time frames for the same day, enter an event for each, see Boarding events below.
If an employee or a pet owner attempts to schedule outside of these hours of operation they will get an error message:
To modify specific dates you would to be "closed" or have different operating hours you should first create the general hours of operation as described above. Once added go to the Hours of Operation Calendar.
Menu-->Company Preferences-->Company Settings-->Hours of Operation Calendar
Click on the event on the date you want to modify. For example if you want to not allow daycare on Friday 8/12, click on that event from the calendar view, click delete event. To simply change the hours, modify the time range and click modify event.
To not allow boarding drop offs/picks ups on a given date, simply delete the boarding hours for those dates. The Boarding Closed calendar type will not allow you to schedule a boarding including any of those dates. This option is best used when your facility will be closed and not have any boarding pets in house.
