Set up is easy. Simply mark products and services as a daycare add-on from the maintain products/services page. Scheduled service, grooming service, and retail/product service types can be selected as add-ons.
Start by selecting the products and services you would like to have available in the daycare add-on section when scheduling, signing in, or modifying a daycare.
Select services as add-ons from the Main Menu-->Products & Services-->Maintain Products or Services page. Services selected here will be available on the daycare add-ons section.
Grooming and scheduled services that are selected as add-ons will be added as scheduled appointments on the appropriate dashboards. They will be signed in when the daycare is signed in. When the daycare is signed out, the grooming and scheduled services will be included on the order and all of the services will then be removed from the dashboards.
Grooming and scheduled service add-ons will behave like any other service scheduled in those service types. They will have an add-on icon on the dashboards and reports for additional visibility. If they are assigned to an employee, they will appear on the commission reports for those employees.
Retail items or products can also be added as daycare add-ons. Products with the following service types can be included as retail add-ons:
- Additional Charges
- Clothing
- Product
- Service
- Toys
- Treatment
- Any custom added service types that have “Include in Scheduled Services Menu” unselected
These types of retail add-ons will appear on the Retail Add-On Page which can be accessed from the daycare options menu. From this page you can manage and mark retail add-ons complete. Retail add-ons will be added to the cart when the daycare is signed in.
Add-ons can be added or removed by modifying a scheduled daycare. When scheduled service or grooming add-ons are removed from a scheduled daycare, they will be removed from the associated calendars and schedules as well. When retail add-ons are removed from the daycare, they will be removed from the Retail Daycare Add-on page as well.
If multiple scheduled daycares are deleted through the maintain scheduled daycare page, any associated add-ons will also be deleted.
Daycare add-ons are only available on the employee side of PetExec when scheduling, signing in or modifying a daycare. There is not an option for pet owners to select add-ons through the owner portal or mobile app.
